who is mad?
MaD Ministries (Making a Difference) is a registered Scottish Christian Charity (SC040771).
Director of MaD Ministries; Brian Lowrie is married to Sarah and they have three grown up sons.
Brian has over 24 years experience in full-time Christian work. Most of this work has been with children and teenagers.
Brian is a graduate from Moorlands Bible College in Dorset. After graduation he worked at Howeth Road Evangelical church in Bournemouth as their outreach schools worker. Then he worked with Heatherlands Church in Poole as their detached youth worker and as one of the Elders.
Next the family moved to Cardiff in South Wales, where Brian was the full-time Elder at Ebenezer church, responsible for outreach and schools work. Later Brian felt the call of God back to Scotland to work as Youth Pastor at Hamilton Baptist Church, where he served for five years.
Seeing the need to resource, train and motivate churches to reach out to the younger generation, Brian and Sarah were led by God to begin the work of MaD Ministries.
MaD Ministries has been serving and partnering with churches, individuals and other agencies for 15 years now. Our hope and prayer is that we have and will continue to make a lasting difference in many young people's lives.
